08:46 pm: Livejournal is definetly a throwback to the old days for me but I stumbled across my old account and though.."why not post?!?"

I am bombarded with essays this week and as always I have left them all until the last minute. Currently I am trying to stretch my essay on why The Oslo Accords failed to bring about peace between Israel and Palestine so it will meet the required fifteen page minimum. It is due tomorrow but I'm in pretty good shape with 12 pages already done. Tomorrow I need to start writing my esssay for Causes of War on How Child Soldiers are used to perpetuate the cycle of war and violence. After that I only have one more essay left!!!!! Why the Canadian idea of Pearsonian Internationalism is a myth. I cannot wait until school is done!!!!

So we just found someone to take the last room in our apartment for next year which is great because it was getting pretty late. I've never met her but I'm sure she will fit in just fine.

I am ridiculously exited for the end of school because my mom is taking Lauren and I to New York for our 21st birthday and then I am going to Swaziland,Africa for two weeks in July/August. Then I get to go back to Camp Walden for the rest of the summer, which is amazing!

I seriously need to get back to my essay now!

03:13 pm: I'm an idiot...and screwed up royally.

10:34 am: So Bryan, my boyfriend is down for a couple of days which I am super excited about. Last night we went to Vintage, a martini bar in Fonthill. The food and drinks there are amazing! I think we are going to go to the Casino some time but I'm not sure when...maybe Saturday. Then Sunday we're going to a wedding reception/dance thingy which should be fun and I got to buy a new dress for the occassion and shoes!

10:33 pm: Saturday I went to Toronto with my aunt,cousins, mom, and sister and we saw RENT! It was FANTASTIC! I almost died I loved it sooo much. It's too bad it was only in Toronto for a week because it's a traveling tour or I would tell EVERYONE to go and see it. The lead Bryce Ryness was amazing..I think I've developed a major crush lol!

06:35 pm: Well I'm back in Port Colborne for good...and for good I mean until around June 20th. I am bored! So if anyone wants to do anything just give me a call as I am probably sitting in my house!..This especially means you Katrina! But seriously people call...please!

10:27 am: MCDONALDS!

It's official you are reading the blog of the newest employee of McDonalds! I almost died laughing when my mom called me yesterday and told me I had gotten the job. I think that it will be fun as I've never worked at fastfood ever. Plain- thanks for the tips about the Penn but I need a job for only a few months...I wish I could work at American Eagle and the Gap though cause that would entail some sweet discounts!

Yesterday I came back to Trent on the good old greyhound...it makes me wish I had a car because taking the bus cost me aprox. $30 and adds 1-2 hours onto the trip. But seeing as I'm poor that just won't happen. Bryan and I saw Thank you for Smoking yesterday and it was really funny. I recommend it for everyone to see! Not I want to go to see the really girly movies- Stick it and American Dreamz!

So everyone that lives in Port must come to McDonald's when I am working...I believe I start May 3rd although I don't know what job I'm doing yet.

03:20 pm: Easter Weekend

I haven't written a lj post in a really long time..feels kinda weird. Anyways I'm still at home but am leaving tomorrow to head back to Trent. Easter has been really good this year. Friday I took the bus to Hamilton and went to Youth Eventz, which is a really big church service aimed at youth. We went to the 8:30pm service. The service was alright it was nice to be back in a church but seeing a lot of people from camp was ackward. People pretend that their really excited to see you and you know that they're not. It's really frickin ackward although it was nice to see a few people from camp. Sunday we went to church in Pelham. My whole family was in the service and it was really nice. Then my family and Sam went out to lunch at M.T. Bellies with the Millers...some more good times. And yesterday I went shopping with my mom and grandma in Buffalo.

Oh I forgot the best part of my weekend I applied to all the fastfood places in Port because I need a job for a few months before I go to camp. I actually had an interview at McDonalds yesterday....although I am not holding my breath for that one. Now I'm wasting time because I don't want to start studying. I still have FOUR exams left to write..I have SIX in total. It really sucks! And Bryan was supposed to call me this weekend and he hasn't so I'm kinda mad and I know that I could call him but I'm not....because I'm immature and mad! But I don't care! Anyways that's enough about my boring life! Hope everyone had a nice Easter!

11:35 am: So I'm working at Camp Walden this summer. It will be weird not working at Gan. but interesting to see another camp. Apparently most of the staff and campers are rich Jewish kids...we shall see...
Now I only need to figure out my plans for May and June.

11:23 pm: Well It's pretty much certain that there will be conservative minority government. Despite the fact that this had been predicted for months I secretly...well maybe not so secretly wished the NDP would produce a massive uproar and win!! ahaha in my dreams. Although I must say that I am very proud of the NDP winning aprox. 30 or so seats, a vast improvement from the last election. One day I will be the leader of the NDP and we shall win and take over the world..ok maybe also in my dreams. Although I could run as an independent except I would need to become a controversial radio host first...I'll work on that. Wohoo politics!

02:44 am: Pictures from last saturday

I love digital cameras..I believe I'm getting one for christmas which means I will be able to take pictures of absolutely everything! I almost missed my first exam today because I set my alarm for the wrong time. I woke up and almost had a heart attack, luckily I was able to catch the bus and write my exam.

I'm really excited for Christmas break...woot! Rachel and Andy for England are coming down on the 26th and it should be great!

HANSON CONCERT IN TWO DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you tell that I'm excited!! I definetly still have some harcore thirteen year old girl in side of me.
